Cosmic General Industries was concepted in 1979 by young Electrical Engineering Graduate from Jabalpur Engineering University (M.P), Late Mr. Madhav Singh Thakur, who came to Mumbai from a very small town from interiors of India to do something on its own. His dream was to dream big. He worked as Research and Design Engineer with Volta’s for few years in early 70’s and later on started his company. Cosmic executed various kind of projects in the fields like Railway Electrification, Signaling, manufacture/repair of DC motors upto 50 HP, Control panels, Transformers and so on in early 80’s and gradually focused into Locomotives and EMU’s to continue to build a team of technocrats and grow as a Company and indeed as a winner. Through his continuous hard work, excellence and innovation, Company has now grown many folds and caters as leading suppliers of Traction Motors Products.

We are entering into new range of products as well to cater our clients and continue our excellence in what we do the best. Our main focus will be into Quality Driven, Power efficient Traction Motor Products with state of art Repair / Rewinding Facility and technology. Company will very soon enter into Exports and cater National and International clients as well. Our Team is working round the clock to provide innovation in our business.
